At last!

Do you know, we're actually going to do some gardening today!  It's dry and bright, the sun is coming out and it's forecast to be around 8 or 9 degrees.  There's quite a strong wind though (always seems to be windy here) so doubtless it'll feel a bit colder.  But with a fleece jacket and gardening gloves on, it should be ok.  We're itching to get started on all the jobs out there - even husband is - and got to take advantage of the sunshine.  Forecast for tomorrow is even warmer but no sun!

  1. Lucky you! 2.5 degrees here and that bitterly cold wind. Oh well, tomorrow, maybe... xx

  2. I hope you manage to do a little bit in the garden, it is bitterly cold here today, but I would like to try and do half an hour if the sun appears.

  4. Oh, I envy you so much being able to get out into the garden! We're in the same boat as Jackie from 'In the Land of the Living Sky'. We are in the next province to the west and the thermometer has been stuck at -26C and more for a couple of weeks. With the wind chill it is, at best, -40C, the wind is bitterly cold every day. Tons of snow to go with it, although not as bad as down east, thank goodness! They have so much snow there is nowhere left to shovel it too. There's always someone worse off so we won't complain too much!!
