For Joy

For Joy - and anyone else who might be interested.....Skint Dad's Cheese Puffs

Here's the link

He says it makes 6 large puffs.....well, his must be saucer sized, I made 15 out of the mixture, about 2-bite size, using a dessertspoonful of mixture dropped on the tray.  I used a mixture of Cheddar and Parmesan.  They're delicious!

  1. I shall definitely make some of these next week - very simple and we all love anything cheesy!

  3. Oooh, these look good. Being lactose intolerant, I do miss cheese, especially a tasty Stilton. Sigh! xx

    1. I'm also lactose intolerant but don't have too much of a problem with cheese....unless I eat loads of it! xx

    2. There are a few dairy-free blue cheeses out there this year, try one of them. And for this recipe the Violife Mature or Applewood would be gorgeous. :-)

    3. I've tried the Ilchester blue cheese - yuk! I do use the Applewood smoked cheese, so might try that. I find most of the dairy-free cheeses have a strange aftertaste which I dislike. Ho hum!
